Ruth is one of the few New York-based media executives with a 360-degree scope of experience in entertainment and publishing. She has been involved in all sides of the entertainment business, having worked as an executive for production companies run by producers Scott Rudin, Arnold Kopelson, and John Davis. As a studio executive at USA Films, Ruth was Executive Vice President of Development. Prior to joining Folio Management, Ruth was a senior editor at Hyperion where she edited the New York Times bestseller The Shift, by Tory Johnson. She was an executive producer on Humor Mestarring Jemaine Clement and Elliott Gould and an associate producer on the movie adaptation of Judy Blume’s novel Tiger Eyes.
Ted was the CEO of RLJ Entertainment until early 2013. Previously, he has been Image Entertainment’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and Co-CEO and Director of TM Entertainment and Media, CEO and Co-Owner of Anchor Bay Entertainment, President and Chief Operating Office of MaMaMedia, Inc., Founder and President of Sony Wonder, Executive Vice President of Administration and Operations for ATCO Records, Senior Vice President of Polygram Records. Ted graduated from the Columbia University School of Law and Cornell University.
